What operating systems does GCS ERP run on?

GCS ERP  supports Microsoft and Unix/Linux  server operating systems.  Individual workstations supports any Microsoft operating system from Windows95 through the most current Windows XP.

What kind of server do I need to run GCS ERP?

GCS ERP can be run on any server that supports the above operating systems.   Examples are HP&Dell, Intel based servers as well as IBM and Sun Risc based servers.  Server requirements vary depending on the number of GCS ERP users.  For minimum requirements we would recommend a server with five 15k rpm hard drives, at least 1.5mb Ram, and 2.5ghz processor.

Can GCS ERP run over the web?

Yes. GCS ERP has two versions. Both run over the web. One runs entirely on a web server, which is embedded with Oracle's Application Web Server Technology. The other is client server based, requiring a Microsoft Web/Terminal server to communicate over the web to remote locations.

How is GCS ERP priced?

GCS ERP is priced depending on the number of concurrent users.  This allows a smaller growing companies to take advantage of  the GCS ERP as well as larger more established ones looking to move up to the latest software technology for the apparel industry.

How quickly can GCS ERP be implemented?

This is dependent on the customer's requirements and assistance.  It may vary greatly for each implementation.  In some cases we may recommend a phased in approached for those with a seasonal business.  Some customers may have a new requirement from a vendor and may need to be completely implemented  in a few weeks.  GCS consults and works with our customers to ensure the most efficient implementation to satisfy their requirements.
